چکیده

Background: Spinal anesthesia has become an alternative to general anesthesia. However, spinal the most common side effects including, bradycardia and hypotension. The aim of this study was determine relationship between changes in inferior vena cava index (delta index) mean arterial pressure Methods: This observational pre-post test thirty-two patients who received (inferior collectibility caval-aorta measured before after (5 10 minutes onset). Data were analyzed using Kolmogorov Smirnov test, Shapiro-Wilk T-test, correlation with α=5% Result: There a significant difference (MAP), delta (D-IVC-CI), (D-CAo-I) D-IVC-CI D-CAo-I are significantly correlated MAP. MAP had R = -0.371 (P <0.05) at 5 post-anesthesia, while 0.472 post-anesthesia. Conclusion: is (MAP) value

Inferior vena cava index in edematous patients.

INTRODUCTION To find a relation between extracellular over fluid and inferior vena cava index as a noninvasive, cost effective and accessible method. METHODS In a cross sectional study 54 cases (no edema 30, mild and moderate 13 and significant edema 11 cases) entered to study. Inferior vena cava index (IVCi) measured by difference of inspiration to expiration divided to maximum size multiply...

INFERIOR VENA CAVA THROMBOSIS IN A PATIENT WITH ESSENTIAL THROMBOCYTHEMIA

Essential thrombocythemia is a chronic myeloproliferative disorder characterized by a sustained proliferation of megakaryocytes, which leads to increased numbers of circulating platelets. Hemorrhagic and/or thrombotic episodes are frequent, and thrombosis of both veins and arteries may develop. Vessels in unusual sites may be involved, e.g., the hepatic veins, mesenteric veins, and the dig...

Double inferior vena cava.

Venous anomalies involving the inferior vena cava are very rare. The case of a 74-year-old man with coronary artery disease is presented. Interestingly, a double inferior vena cava was incidentally discovered during coronary artery bypass grafting. Persistence of the left hepatic segment vein appeared as a left inferior vena cava-a very rare condition.

Inferior vena cava filters.

Venous thromboembolism is common. Most pulmonary emboli arise as thromboses in the deep veins of the lower extremities and may result in serious complications. Inferior vena cava filters (IVCF) are intended to prevent the passage of deep vein thrombosis to the pulmonary arteries. Accepted indications for IVCF placement include the presence of acute venous thromboembolism with inability to admin...
